SPATA S.r.l. (Services for agriculture, territory and environment), has been working in Sicily since 1991, setting up services to public and private companies, factories, associations and organizations dealing with agriculture, territory and environment, and especially engaged in biological control.

In 1995 SPATA has started a Biofactory which is now playing a role of leadership in the whole South of Italy in the production and trading of insects as beneficial organisms for agricultural crops.
